Abstract
Notes and Comments
In recent years, losses of honey bee colonies have been reported from different parts of the world (Neumann and Carreck, 2010). Among the most studied causes are the presence of honey bee pathogens such as RNA viruses and the microsporidium Nosema ceranae, altough their roles are still under discussion (Chen and Siede, 2007; Higes et al., 2008; Paxton, 2010).
