This report is based on information collected in the Republic of Niger from October 1985 to February 1986. It is the summary of an expert-report on traditional beekeeping made in order to initiate a beekeeping project. The report was financed by the Ministry of Economic Co-operation of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ) and organized in co-operation with the Ministry of Water Supply and Environment (Forestry Authority) of the Republic of Niger (MHE).
