AbstractHoneybees laboriously gather their food (nectar and pollen) from flowers in bloom and store it in the hive for use when needed. When nectar sources are scarce or unavailable locally they are attracted by honey in neighbouring hives. They make raids on hives that are unable to defend themselves and steal their honey or sugar syrup
