The main Symposium Sessions for these meeting are:

1. Regulatory review- honeybee risk assessment for pesticides in Europe
2. Bee health issues - country specific experiences including Varroa and varroacides
3. Test methodology - laboratory, semi-field and field
4. Honey bee poisoning incidents and monitoring schemes
5. Bumblebees and other pollinators

Within these areas there are specific issues which the scientific committee would like to addressed at the meeting:

- Update on risks posed by dusts
- Assessment of risks posed by guttation
- Acceptability of effects in field studies

The scientific committee would like to invite participants to raise other issues for consideration as part of the programme. Nominations for sessions/topics should be emailed to Helen Thompson by 31 January 2011 to allow time for consideration and preparation prior to the meeting.
