A description of the male of Hylaeus graenicheri Mitchell (Hymenoptera: Colletidae)

The male of the Florida endemic bee species Hylaeus graenicheri is described from specimens collected in Everglades National Park, Florida. The male has genitalia typical of the subgenus Hylaeana. The species is noted for its small size, yellow and brown colour, and lack of a supraclypeal maculation and an incomplete clypeal maculation.
