Abstract
Beekeepers generally agree that the feeding of honeybee colonies when they are being used to supply queens enhances both the quality and number of queens produced. Adapting the same feeding principle to colony build-up and the development of colony foraging strength can increase the prospect of obtaining both an earlier and greater honey production.
