In recent years there has been a marked increase in the number and geographical spread of international conferences on beekeeping and allied subjects. This most desirable trend assists the advancement of our knowledge through mutual cooperation. It is important, however, that conferences and similar events are arranged in a coordinated way to permit maximum participation.
