Penelope Walker was a colleague, collaborator and friend of Dr Eva Crane: working together they contributed much to the history of beekeeping and developed the Bee Boles Register. She is still the custodian of the Register and through her efforts this is now available online at www.ibra.beeboles.org.uk Here she sheds light on a little known Irish saint and his beekeeping activities.
