Gene Kritsky is Professor of Biology at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. Inspired by the work of Dr Eva Crane he has had a long time interest in the historical aspects of beekeeping and is the author of The Quest for the Perfect Hive just published by Oxford University Press
