Every two years thousands of the world’s beekeepers and bee scientists gather in a different country for the International Apicultural Congress (Apimondia). The congress involves scientific talks and discussions, a huge trade fair (ApiExpo), competitions and technical tours of the area aimed at giving an insight into local beekeeping.
