Abstract
The thermal conductivities of two types of beeswax were determined using a line heat-source technique. Values for both crude rendered wax and foundation wax were influenced by temperature, the conductivity being higher at the two extremes of -15° and +40°C used, and relatively constant between 0 and 25°. Conductivity of the crude rendered wax was consistently higher than that of the foundation material.
