Abstract
Evidence of poisoning of honeybees by organophosphorus insecticides is frequently obtained by measuring inhibition of acetylcholinesterase, but in the case of triazophos poisoning inhibition is reversible, making the biochemical method unsuitable for this insecticide. An alternative procedure using gas-liquid chromatogrsphy is described.
