Article Title
RELATIVE ATTRACTIVENESS OF DIFFERENT POLLENS TO HONEYBEES WHEN FORAGING IN A FLIGHT ROOM AND WHEN FED IN THE HIVE
Author(s)
R. BACH
Abstract
Although the pigments of pollen responsible for its yellow colour, and also for the absorption of long-wave UV light, attracted foraging honeybees to pollen sources in the flight room, they appeared not to be directly associated with the substance(s) that attracted bees in the hive to eat the pollen fed to them.
