I don't have enough heads for the number of ‘hats' I am wearing in this editorial. I am not a beekeeper, so it might be regarded as somewhat eccentric that I have not only been asked to write this Guest Editorial, but that I have also served on IBRA Council for three years and half of that time as Deputy Chairman. However, it was precisely because I am not a beekeeper that I was asked to join Council.
