Abstract
From time to time IBRA receives requests for information or guidance on current or prospective markets for bee and bee products. Such requests. from governments, national or local beekeepers associations or co-operatives as well as commercial interests have not been confined to trade with what are often referred to as developing countries, but include leading industrialized nations together with others, such as countries in Eastern Europe, who are now seeking new outlets where they may obtain higher prices or premium 'hard currencies' for their bee product exports.
