European legislation governing the use of veterinary medicinal products with particular reference to varroa control

Abstract
In this article the author guides us through the jungle of European Union regulations and directives that control the marketing and manufacturing authorization of medicinal and veterinary products in Europe, and the limits set for residues in honey. Control of varroa and organic production of agricultural products is also considered.
