When Lesley Goodman died on the 6 March 1998 (obituary in Bee79(2): 111–112) she left a partly completed manuscript of a World book to the Trustees of the L J Goodman Insect Physiology Research Trust with a request that the book be completed and published by IBRA. As Chair of the Trust I am now very pleased to report that I have discharged my promise to Lesley and Form and will be published in January 2003. Function in the Honey Bee
