Abstract
Beekeeping is an important national activity with great potential for providing benefits to all Ugandans in terms of food, energy, employment, pollination of crops and conservation of biodiversity. The following summarizes a report on apiculture in south-western Uganda by Rutemba Didas, Director of Kanungu Apicultural Services, Uganda.
